向涛

简介:

清华大学本科毕业,1984在清华大学获硕士学位,1990年在中国科学院理论物理所获博士学位。1990-98年先后在英国牛津大学、Warwick大学和剑桥大学做博士后研究工作。现任中国科学院物理研究所研究员、博士生导师。2013年当选中国科学院院士;2015年发展中国家科学院院士。

主要研究方向:

凝聚态理论,特别是密度矩阵重正化群与张量重正化群、高温超导理论研究。

 

过去的主要工作及获得的成果:

提出并建立了动量空间密度矩阵重正化群、量子转移矩阵重正化群、以及基于虚时演化和二次重正化变换的张量重正化群方法,解决了多体量子模型的热力学量及其它物理量的计算问题。提出了高温超导电子层间相干运动的微观模型,正确预言了高温超导层间电子结构和超流密度等物理量随温度的变化规律。
